Speech-to-Text

When logging a service, you may enter comments into the field by typing, pasting or using the speech-to-text feature. Voice entry may be accomplished by clicking on the microphone in the top right corner of the text field. View the video below to learn more.

Before You Start: Protecting Student Privacy

Before using the speech-to-text feature for documentation, confirm that:

• You are in a private location where conversations cannot be overheard
• No unauthorized individuals (including coworkers, students, or visitors) are within hearing range
• Your screen and audio are positioned to prevent unintended access to student information
• You avoid dictating student-identifying information in public or shared spaces
• You are following all HIPAA and organizational privacy guidelines
